London Beloved actress Michelle Dockery has surprised fans with joyous personal news at the London premiere of Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale.

The 43-year-old star revealed she is expecting her first child with husband Jasper Waller-Bridge, marking a new chapter in her life as she also bids farewell to her iconic role as Lady Mary Crawley.
Dockery made the revelation on the red carpet at Leicester Square, wearing a light blue gown that subtly highlighted her baby bump as photographers and fans looked on.
Her husband stood by her side as the announcement made headlines.
The actress who has portrayed Lady Mary since Downton Abbey first aired in 2010 also reflected on the end of the Crawley family’s story.
The final installment, The Grand Finale, due for release September 12, 2025, closes out the long-running saga which includes six TV seasons and two earlier films.
