Bobby Brazier has spoken for the first time about his younger brother Freddy becoming a father, saying he hopes the baby will help mend their family rift.
The 22-year-old EastEnders star shared that their dad, Jeff Brazier, was the one who told him about the pregnancy. Freddy, 20, is expecting the child with an ex-girlfriend and it will be the first grandchild of the late reality TV star Jade Goody.

He shared that his dad was the one who told him the news about Freddy, and at first, he didn’t know what to think. Now, he’s excited about becoming an uncle — or as he put it, a “funcle” (fun uncle).
He said the whole family is looking forward to the baby, and they see it as a team effort that will help bring them closer together.
He added that their dad is very supportive, and he hopes to follow that example as they raise the baby together.

Their dad, TV presenter Jeff, has a court hearing as he tries to stop Freddy from seeing his maternal grandmother, Jackiey Budden (68), who is the mother of the late Big Brother star Jade. Jeff has concerns about Freddy’s well-being.
While speaking at the National Television Awards, Bobby confirmed that he plans to visit India after stepping away from his role as Freddie Slater on the BBC soap.
He clarified that he’s not moving there permanently just going for a month to visit holy places and meet spiritual people.
Bobby explained that it’s in his nature to seek out experiences like this. Meditation plays a big role in his life, just like his showbiz career does.
He added that following the Hare Krishna path has been a positive experience for him, and he’s really enjoying it.
“They are some of my best friends. It’s been some of the best times of my life.
“They think showbiz is cool.”
Bobby turned to the Hare Krishna faith a branch of Hinduism as a way to find peace after losing his mum, Jade Goody, in 2009 when he was just five years old.

Last year, he was spotted on Oxford Street in London, dancing and chanting with others dressed in traditional Hare Krishna robes.
Meanwhile, this week Freddy spoke publicly for the first time about becoming a dad. He posted a photo of his shoes while lying on outdoor decking, captioned: “I’m actually a DILF to be!”
