Callum Turner and fiancée Dua Lipa are looking forward to a lifelong romance.
The 35-year-old British actor kept it simple when asked about his future with the 30-year-old “New Rules” singer. Speaking to Etalk, Turner said he hopes to “just be together, forever” with Lipa. When the interviewer commented, “That’s all you need to know,” Turner agreed, replying, “That’s right.”
Dua Lipa and Callum Turner were first romantically linked in January 2024. Rumors of their engagement began that December when Lipa shared photos of herself wearing a diamond ring, but she didn’t confirm it until a June interview with British Vogue.
“Yeah, we’re engaged. It’s very exciting,” she said. “This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just… be best friends forever – it’s a really special feeling.”
In a Harper’s BAZAAR cover story last month, Lipa reflected on falling in love. “I love love. It is a beautiful thing. It’s a really inspiring thing. You find yourself so intensely falling all the time in the best way possible,” she said.
“That vulnerability is so scary, but I feel so lucky to get to feel it,” she continued. “I’ve spent a lot of time being guarded or protecting my heart, and so I’m letting go of that feeling and just being like, ‘Okay, if I’m supposed to get hurt, then this is what’s going to happen.’ I have to just allow love.”
Dua Lipa, the “Training Season” singer, shared that she hopes to be more open about her relationship, though she typically keeps her private life private for a reason. “I’m happier than ever, so it feels like I’m doing a disservice by not talking about it… When you’re a public person, anything that’s very personal is very vulnerable. It’s not like I don’t want to share it,” she explained.
Lipa and Callum Turner are enjoying their engagement and aren’t rushing into marriage.
“Dua is absolutely head over heels for Callum, and they’ve talked seriously about their future together, including marriage,” the insider said. “But they just recently got engaged and are still very much in that celebratory bubble. They haven’t even really begun the wedding planning process yet.”
