Romy Mars and Jacob Elordi just lit up TikTok!
In a playful video posted on Sunday, Sept. 7, 18-year-old Romy Mars — daughter of director Sofia Coppola — joined actor Jacob Elordi, 28, for the viral “Biggest Brat” dance challenge.
The duo showed off their moves on a nighttime balcony, dancing to the 2025 hit “Top Of Cars” by Lil M.U. with energetic hand waves and jumps. Romy captioned the clip simply: “OUTSIIDEEEE.”
The fun continued with a solo moment of Elordi fist-pumping to the beat, adding to the video’s charm.

Fans are buzzing over Romy Mars and Jacob Elordi’s unexpected and hilarious TikTok collaboration.
Commenters couldn’t hide their surprise: “I’m confused, who is she and how did she get Jacob Elordi to do that lmaoo,” one person wrote. Another chimed in, “I never thought I’d see Jacob Elordi make a TikTok, omg.”
The fun didn’t stop there — Romy also shared a candid selfie with Elordi on Instagram the same day. In the pic, he stands behind her holding a glass of wine, while Romy playfully sticks out her tongue at the camera. She cheekily captioned the post “Alisters,” a nod to her debut single, “A-Lister.”

Romy Mars and Jacob Elordi first met back in 2022 on the set of Priscilla, directed by Romy’s mother, Sofia Coppola. The film, which starred Elordi as Elvis Presley, gave 16-year-old Romy a unique behind-the-scenes experience.
“Having a 16-year-old daughter on set with Jacob Elordi was funny,” Coppola told Grazia U.K. last year. She added, “I’m glad they’re not jaded,” and went on to praise Elordi’s talent and dedication: “He was just so dedicated… I think he’s great. I feel he can do anything he’s so transformative.”
Interestingly, Romy was initially denied a selfie with Elordi on set a moment she shared in a past TikTok video. But she eventually got her wish when Elordi surprised her with a birthday cake and posed for a photo, marking a sweet full-circle moment.
Romy Mars has continued to share glimpses of her friendship with Jacob Elordi on social media.
In one memorable TikTok from September 2024, she filmed Elordi at a restaurant using a beard filter, joking in the caption: “Forcing Jacob to make snaps which were sent directly to my failed talking stage.”
Born in New York City, Romy is the eldest daughter of filmmaker Sofia Coppola and Phoenix frontman Thomas Mars. She also has a younger sister, Cosima, 15.
In 2023, Romy stepped into the spotlight with her music debut, releasing the singles “Stuck Up” and “From a Distance.” Her mom proudly celebrated the moment on Instagram, writing: “So proud of Romy’s first 2 songs out today!”
