Coronation Street fans are convinced they’ve worked out who is secretly pregnant on the cobbles.
In spoilers next week, an unexpected pregnancy is revealed, leaving a cobbles legend stunned.
In upcoming scenes, David Platt’s daughter Lily complains of a tummy ache, but David is skeptical and sends her off to school, thinking she’s trying to skip class.
Later, he vents to his sister Sarah about Lily arguing over a boy and trying to avoid school, which worries Sarah.
Things heat up when David notices new neighbor Carla Connor putting trash in his bin. When he looks through the rubbish, he finds a pregnancy test, sparking his curiosity, according to the Daily Star.
Assuming the pregnancy test belongs to Betsy Swain, a smug David shows it to his sister Sarah to gossip. But when Sarah suggests it might actually be Lily’s, David’s confidence quickly turns to panic. Later that week, Sarah uncovers a secret pregnancy on the cobbles.
Meanwhile, David reacts as the real owner of the test comes forward. The big question remains: can they keep the pregnancy a secret, and who does the test really belong to? Fans on social media believe they’ve figured out who’s pregnant.

Another added, “Bethany’s back very soon, maybe it’s her…” This speculation comes after actress Grace Ashcroft-Gardner made her debut as Lily Platt, taking over from Brooke Malonie in July.
Lily is the daughter of David Platt and his late wife Kylie Platt, who was played by Paula Lane. She is also the half-sister of Max Turner, played by Paddy Beaver.
The role of Lily has been played by several actresses over the years: Betsie and Emmie Taylor portrayed her from September 2014 to May 2016, then Brooke Malonie took over later that year, and most recently, Grace Ashcroft-Gardner stepped into the role.
In other news, Lucy Fallon, who portrays Bethany, confirmed she had resumed filming for the ITV soap back in July following the birth of her second child.
