It’s double the joy for Penn Badgley and his wife, Domino Kirke!
The Gossip Girl alum revealed that the couple recently welcomed identical twin boys. Badgley, 38, shared the exciting news on Instagram Wednesday, quietly announcing the birth while cradling his newborn sons.
“I’m interrupting my paternity leave — which I’m on, by the way — which is also why I’m whispering. There’s tiny little baby feet right there,” he said, careful not to wake the sleeping babies.
The You star made the sweet announcement while promoting an upcoming live event for his podcast and new book Crushmore, scheduled for October 14.

Domino Kirke, 41, first shared the news of her pregnancy back in February, referring to the surprise as a “plot twist” in a joyful Instagram post.
In the caption, she hinted at her summer due date, writing, “Babies #3 and #4 coming this Summer! … Spontaneous twins are beyond magical.”
The singer and doula expressed her amazement, adding, “We are stunned. We are in awe. Can’t think of anyone else I’d rather be on this ride with.”
Kirke and Penn Badgley are also parents to son James, who was born in August 2020.

Domino Kirke first revealed her baby bump in a series of photobooth pictures shared on Instagram, where son James also made a brief appearance — his face covered by a heart emoji for privacy.
Penn Badgley previously reflected on James’ birth during the COVID-19 pandemic, describing the experience as “very, very joyful” during a 2021 interview on The Jess Cagle Show.
“We had an opportunity to be with him in a way that we wouldn’t have,” he said at the time. “So that is a strange blessing in it all.”

Penn Badgley is also a proud stepfather to Cassius, Domino Kirke’s eldest son from her previous relationship with musician Morgan O’Kane.
Kirke and Badgley tied the knot in a New York City courthouse in February 2017, later celebrating with a second ceremony upstate that June.
The couple have been together since 2014, building a blended and growing family over the years.

Domino Kirke once shared in an interview with People that she hadn’t expected to get married when she met Penn Badgley, admitting she was “sort of getting a little used to being a single mom” at the time.
Badgley has spoken lovingly about his wife, notably in a heartfelt 2019 Instagram birthday tribute. He praised her “invisible qualities,” calling her a “truly radiant soul” with a “great capacity for empathy” and a “miraculous … desire to be of service to others.”
