Freddie and Harry got into a heated argument during their group’s trip to Portugal on last night’s episode of TOWIE, with tensions erupting in front of their co-stars.
The row stemmed from a message Freddie sent months earlier, urging others to support his close friend Ella Rae Wise while she was in the Celebrity Big Brother house. However, his tone upset some members of the girl group, sparking friction.
Things escalated in a nightclub, with Freddie accusing Harry of being “obsessed” with him after he ended their brief romance in the previous series.
Harry fired back, claiming it was actually Freddie who was fixated pointing out that he once wore a t-shirt with Harry’s face on it years ago.
Freddie has now spoken out on Instagram about his feud with Harry, sharing a photo of the two of them wearing the same t-shirt.
In the post, he revealed the “real reason” behind his frustration with his former friend.
Freddie wrote, “This is the kind of person who claims he’s nice and lovely to everyone, but when I joined the show, he made me feel completely unwelcome and constantly mocked me to other cast members.”
Freddie took to Instagram to speak out about his fallout with Harry, sharing a photo of the two wearing the same t-shirt, merch from Harry’s shop and explaining it was from when he was just 15 and working there.
“I always thought we were friends,” Freddie wrote, “but he’s belittled me ever since I joined the show. That’s the real reason I’m so upset and angry.”
In another post, Freddie addressed his fiery start to the season:
“I know I’ve been intense, but I’ll always speak my mind even if most of the cast don’t agree. My heart’s in the right place, and I always mean well. Yes, I can be quick-tempered, but that’s who I am. I’m passionate and emotional, and I don’t see that as a bad thing.”
He added that others had issues with him but wouldn’t confront him directly and thanked the cameras for capturing the truth.
This comes after news broke of a major bust-up between Harry and Freddie during the TOWIE cast trip to Portugal, celebrating the show’s 15th anniversary.
A source revealed that months of unresolved tension between the former couple came to a head on the Algarve getaway. Although both Freddie and Ella tried to move on from the drama with Harry, and Harry hoped the trip would be a fresh start, things escalated instead.
Now, they’re all trying to find a way forward hoping to keep their differences from affecting the rest of the group.
