Gogglebox icon Ellie Warner has been supported by fans after she issued an emotional family announcement.
The TV star first joined the Channel 4 show back in 2015 with sister Izzi – and it didn’t take them long to become firm favourites.
Over the years, Ellie and Izzi – who live in Leeds – have had fans in stitches thanks to their hilarious one-liners and comical takes on the telly highlights.
Away from the TV show though, Ellie is loved-up with her partner Nat Eddleston, whom she has dated for several years. The pair are parents to two-year-old Ezra.
Last week, Ellie took to her Instagram to share some adorable snaps from their recent family holiday to Salou in Spain.
In one of the photos, Ellie, Nat and Ezra could be seen posing for a selfie, while another snap showed Ellie topping up her tan in an animal-print swimsuit. Ellie also uploaded sweet photos of her toddler eating ice lollies.
In the caption, Ellie shared her emotion following the end of the holiday. She wrote: “Had the most amazing holiday in Spain I shed a tear on the morning of the last day because Ezra isn’t going to be this little again next time we go away. Who even am I?! I’m turning into aunty Jayne.”
Ellie’s fans rushed to the comments section to send their support. One person wrote: “You have amazing memories though, and great photos. It is sad when our babies grow up!
Someone else added: “What a lovely family, Ezra is so cute. And you are looking amazing Ellie, enjoy every minute of him growing up it goes by in a flash.” A third chimed in: “Aw looks Ezra had the time of his life xx super cutie.”
Ellie and Izzi were last seen on screen in May, when series 25 came to an end. However, their co-stars Dave and Shirley Griffiths recently confirmed that the new series is coming to screens sooner than we think.
In the comments section on Instagram of a photo of Dave and Shirley, one fan quizzed them on when they are starting filming for the next series of Gogglebox. They wrote: “When you starting filming for gogglebox again @dave_shirl_gogglebox.?”
Dave and Shirley then replied and said: “end of August mate won’t be long.” The follower said back: “Ah mate I cannot wait.”
