Mark Wright offered a rare look into his family life while talking about his recent holiday to Palma, Majorca with his 5-month-old daughter, Palma.
He and his wife, Michelle Keegan, welcomed their baby earlier this year. During the trip, however, Mark admitted that something about the experience left him feeling disappointed.
He shared this while co-hosting the Heart Saturday Breakfast show with Olly Murs over the weekend.
When Olly Murs asked Mark Wright how his holiday to Palma went, Mark admitted there was something that initially disappointed him.
He explained that since his daughter’s name is Palma—just like the city in Majorca where they landed—he expected a bit of a special moment.
But when they arrived and went through passport control, he noted that, as usual, the staff didn’t seem happy or impressed, which left him slightly let down.

Mark continued by talking about his experience at passport control, saying how the staff never seem to be friendly or smiley. Despite being excited to show off his daughter Palma’s passport, he was met with the usual unenthusiastic “gracias” from the officer. Mark even tried to make it special by holding Palma’s passport out in front of them, but the officer just glanced at it, stamped it, and waved them through.
Despite that, Mark said the holiday was still amazing, with the family taking their first picture in front of the Palma signs. He joked about how he overindulged in food and drink, and how he now fully understood his dad’s habit of enjoying a beer at midday. “I used to think, ‘How could you want that at 12 p.m.?’ Now I’m doing the same thing!”
On the topic of his daughter, Mark shared how Palma takes after her mum, Michelle, by sleeping a lot. Thanks to this, they didn’t have any tantrums on the plane, as Palma would just nap and sleep through the entire flight.
Meanwhile, Michelle posted a sweet tribute to their daughter on social media, sharing stylish holiday snaps. In one, she showed off a gold “PPP” necklace, which she explained was a special nod to Palma, as well as to their dogs, Phoebe the dachshund and Pip the chihuahua.

Since becoming a mom, Michelle has been living the high life, enjoying luxury holidays, red carpet events, and a major new deal with Sky, all while confidently showing off her post-baby figure in swimwear from her own fashion line.
It was recently announced that the actress has signed a six-figure deal to become the new face of Sky, marking her first major job since giving birth to her daughter Palma in March.
Michelle, who rose to fame as Tina McIntyre on Coronation Street in 2007, will film a series of promotional clips alongside British actor Idris Elba, who is already the face of the brand.
A source revealed to The Sun that while Michelle has been enjoying her maternity leave with Palma, she’s excited to get back to work soon to shoot these new Sky adverts. With Brassic ending after its seventh series, Michelle is eager to remain involved with the Sky brand.
