Kaley Cuoco’s New Photos for Fiancé Tom Pelphrey’s Birthday Show Daughter Matilda, 2, Stealing the Spotlight with Pony Ride

It may be Tom Pelphrey’s birthday, but his 2-year-old is stealing the show!

On Monday, July 28, Kaley Cuoco celebrated her fiancé’s 43rd birthday with a sweet photo tribute on social media, but their toddler and her adorable pony ride stole the show. 

“Happy happy birthday to our favorite ♌️! @tommypelphrey you are the greatest there is and I love you more than mere words could describe! 💋 🎂 🎁 this is your year….!” the Role Play actress, 39, captioned her Instagram carousel.

In one photo Pelphrey could be seen walking by his daughter’s side as she rode a pony. She wore a light pink helmet for safety as her dad held her hand, smiling at the camera.  

Cuoco’s special tribute began with a black-and-white photo of the A Man in Full actor beaming as he hugged their daughter Matilda, who was equally, if not more, overjoyed. 

Although Cuoco made a cameo in three of the 13 photos, Matilda came in on top with five appearances.

Other pics of Pelphrey and Matilda included an outdoor selfie, and the pair smiling as she played with toys while sitting on the floor with her dad. 

The Big Bang Theory alum has previously shared that their daughter, who was born in March 2023, was a budding equestrian.

“Saturday riding lesson with [trainer] @farinaeichhorn and her perfect pony, Skye,” the actress revealed on an Instagram Stories video in September 2024 that featured both Pelphrey and Matilda.

That same month, Cuoco spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about her baby girl’s newest pastime. 

“We had a special saddle made for her, so it actually props her up. And she just sits in that thing and walks around and it is crazy,” the 8 Simple Rules star said, adding that “we’re all there” to make sure Matilda safely used it.

Although Cuoco told PEOPLE in a January 2024 interview that her favorite thing about her daughter is that “she finds me hilarious,” she says Matilda is a complete “Daddy’s girl.” 

“Whenever he walks in the room, she only wants to be with him. She is a total daddy’s girl,” she said.

The couple take every opportunity possible to share their love for Matilda.

“🎉 Our Tildy turns 2!!! 🎉,” Cuoco captioned an Instagram Reel for their daughter’s second birthday. “Matilda, you are the light of our lives! The joy and huge smile you bring to everyone truly beams and is a gift to us all🎁 mama and dada love you so much to infinity and beyond! 💫.”

In Pelphrey’s post, he wrote, “Happy 2nd birthday Matilda!! So grateful today for all of the incredible people that surround your life… all of the people who show up with love, laughter, kindness, joy, and encouragement. So grateful for your incredible mom. You make every part of my life better. Even drinking protein shakes.”
