Sophie Turner appeared to keep her distance as she reunited with her ex-husband Joe Jonas and his family for their eldest daughter’s birthday this week.
Turner, 29, and Jonas, 35, got together for co-parenting purposes in Miami, Florida on Tuesday, July 22 to celebrate their eldest daughter Willa’s fifth birthday.
In addition to Willa, the exes also share their three-year-old daughter Delphine, whom they welcomed together in July 14, 2022 and also recently celebrated her birthday.
Turner and Jonas have rarely been seen together publicly since their dramatic 2023 divorce, which was finalized last year.
Tuesday’s gathering also marked the first public sighting of Turner — who recently rekindled her romance with boyfriend Peregrine Pearson — with her ex’s family since their separation.
However, at one point during the reunion, the Game of Thrones actress was spotted standing far away from Jonas’ brothers and their respective wives as she answered a video call.
Despite the apparent tension, they all appeared to be cordial as they all follow one another on social media.
However, for almost two years, Turner and her former sister-in-law Priyanka Chopra have seemingly been distant after they unfollowed each other on social media and deleted any posts with each other.
They were all seen together at Joe’s condo in Miami, relaxing on the balcony and enjoying late afternoon drinks under the Florida sun.
Jonas was spotted with his brother Nick Jonas and his wife Chopra as well as Kevin Jonas and his wife Danielle Jonas as they chatted and played around on one side of the balcony.
And Turner stayed on the far end, on the other corner of her ex’s balcony by herself as she caught up with someone on the phone.
For Willa’s birthday party, the mother-of-two looked effortlessly chic as she modeled a black, floor-length maxi dress.
Her strawberry blonde tresses were pulled back into a messy ponytail and she appeared to be wearing little-to-no makeup as she soaked up the sun.
Meanwhile, proud dad Jonas sported a gray graphic T-shirt paired with white jeans and a black baseball cap.
His brothers and respective sisters-in-law also sported similarly casual and comfortable outfits for the occasion.
His younger brother Nick, 32, wore a dark button-down shirt paired with matching shorts.
Chopra, 43, wore a black and white, patterned jumpsuit with white, cat-eye sunglasses for her summer attire.
Previously, Jonas filed for divorce from his then-wife Turner after four years of marriage in 2023.
Since their separation, she has been romantically linked to Peregrine ‘Perry’ Pearson.
Recently, she and her aristocrat boyfriend were rumored to have called it quits after two years, but they reconciled their romance just weeks later.
Most recently, they were spotted together at Glastonbury.
