Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash were among the celebrity duos who appeared on Celebrity Gogglebox
Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash graced our television screens once more on Friday (18 July), featuring in a rerun of Celebrity Gogglebox.
The couple joined other famous duos in the episode, originally broadcast earlier this year, including Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely, Dani and Danny Dyer, Gok Wan and Fearne Cotton, Rylan and Linda Clark, as well as Bez and Shaun Ryder.
In a humorous segment, Joe and Stacey were seen debating the practicalities of space travel, with the Sort Your Life Out presenter confessing her lack of free time for such an endeavour.
“Someone’s going to have to get on a spaceship and spend five years, or six years, going in one direction,” Joe remarked, prompting Stacey to question, “Who’s got that much time?!”
Joe, the former EastEnders actor, suggested: “Well, you know, wait until the kids grow up and we’re going to have loads of time on our hands.”
Stacey was not enthused by the prospect, firmly telling him: “When the kids grow up and leave home, if you think I’m going to the moon with you, and on a five-year trip, you’ve got to be absolutely joking!”
Joe retorted with a laugh: “You’ve got this wrong. When the kids grow up, I’m going to the moon to get away from you! You’re off your head!”
That sounds good,” Stacey conceded, as Joe struggled to maintain his composure, bringing the light-hearted exchange to an end.
Stacey and Joe are proud parents to a brood of six. Their family includes son Rex, daughters Rose and Belle, Stacey’s teenage sons Zachary and Leighton from a previous relationship, and Joe’s son Harry,
The pair, who exchanged vows in 2022, live in an expansive Essex mansion affectionately known as Pickle Cottage, along with their children and a menagerie of pets, including two dogs and four ducks.
Stacey regularly shares snippets of their family life on her Instagram account, posting everything from birthday festivities to home improvement projects.
