Romeo Beckham has responded with a brief, direct, and clear message after news broke that his brother Brooklyn Beckham had unfollowed him on Instagram, as their family feud continues to escalate.
Romeo Beckham, 22, has responded sharply after it was revealed that his brother Brooklyn Beckham, 26, unfollowed him and their brother Cruz on Instagram. This move has only fueled the growing rumors of a feud within the Beckham family, with Brooklyn seemingly distancing himself from his siblings. Romeo’s post came just hours after the news broke, intensifying the speculation about the rift.

Sources close to Brooklyn Beckham told that neither Brooklyn nor his wife Nicola had unfollowed his brothers and were unaware of the situation until they read about it online. They suggested that it’s possible Romeo and Cruz may have blocked them, which would make it appear as if Brooklyn had unfollowed them. According to the sources, both Brooklyn and Nicola were just as confused as everyone else when they first heard about the news being reported.
Romeo Beckham posted a screenshot of his Spotify, showing that he was listening to a song called Walking Away from Justin Bieber’s new surprise album, Swag. In his post, Romeo simply wrote “Yup,” offering a one-word response to his brother’s recent actions. He also unfollowed Brooklyn on Instagram in return and doesn’t follow Brooklyn’s wife, Nicola Peltz, either.
Their brother Cruz, 20, also does not follow Brooklyn on Instagram. Romeo’s direct and public response came just hours after it was reported that Brooklyn had unfollowed him on the platform.
Brooklyn Beckham, the hot sauce entrepreneur, still follows his famous parents, David and Victoria Beckham, on social media. However, it’s unclear whether a feud has been brewing behind the scenes between him and his brothers. Despite maintaining ties with his parents online, Brooklyn has notably been absent from recent significant family events. He also didn’t acknowledge either of his parents’ birthdays or his father’s recent knighthood on social media, raising further questions about the state of his relationship with the family.
Brooklyn’s decision to unfollow his brothers came just after he seemingly extended an olive branch in the ongoing family feud. He and his wife, Nicola, posted a tribute to his younger sister Harper on Instagram Stories for her birthday. However, tensions between Brooklyn and Romeo have reportedly been escalating in recent months. It’s believed that the source of their rift might be linked to Romeo’s ex-girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, with claims that she played a role in the fallout between the brothers.

In June, model Kim Turnbull addressed rumors that she had previously dated Brooklyn before starting a relationship with Romeo. In a firm statement on her Instagram, Kim denied the claims, stating she would “not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies.” She clarified, saying, “I have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point with the person in question. Nothing between us has occurred further than a school friendship at age 16.”

In what seemed like a response to Kim Turnbull’s statement, Romeo Beckham posted a black-and-white movie still on Instagram with the quote: “What the world needs is a return to sweetness and decency.” He added his own message, saying, “Be nice to people and don’t tell unnecessary lies,” along with a kissing face emoji.
Romeo and Kim had been dating for seven months before they reportedly split in June. Meanwhile, Brooklyn has been married to Nicola Peltz since April 2022.
Earlier this week, Brooklyn appeared to extend an olive branch in the ongoing family feud by posting a sweet birthday tribute to his sister Harper. This came after Brooklyn had skipped several important family events over the year, including his dad David’s 50th birthday celebration and the public announcement of his father being knighted.
While Brooklyn did wish his grandmother Sandra (David’s mom) a happy birthday just two weeks ago, he didn’t acknowledge either of his parents’ birthdays. Additionally, he also skipped Victoria’s father Toni’s birthday back in May.
Earlier this month, Nicola Peltz, Brooklyn Beckham’s wife, responded to accusations that she is “controlling” her husband after she posted photos from a party with friends. Some fans had criticized the couple, suggesting that Nicola was to blame for the tension between Brooklyn and his family.
However, many others defended Nicola, with one commenter stating: “The fact people are in this comment section talking bs about someone controlling a GROWN man is absurd. The guy is an adult and can make his own decisions, leave them be and stop blaming women for everything.”
