Amanda Holden, star of Britain’s Got Talent and Heart Radio Breakfast, hosted an extravagant party for her daughter Hollie to celebrate the end of the school year.
Amanda Holden threw a Beverly Hills-inspired bash for her daughter Hollie to celebrate a new chapter in the teen’s life. Hollie, 13, is about to start Year 9 and switch schools.
To mark the special occasion, the Britain’s Got Talent judge went all out, renting a VIP bus for Hollie and her friends to make a grand entrance. Amanda shared a video on Instagram from the party, which took place in a glamping tepee set up in their garden.
Hollie and her friends also enjoyed a fun meal in the garden, which was decorated in a summery pink and green theme. The space was filled with balloons, cardboard cut-out palm trees, and striped rubber rings, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.
The kids sat on colorful pink and green pillows around a long table piled with delicious dishes. A special sign was put up for the occasion, reading: “Hollie’s goodbye for now…”
Hollie and Amanda’s guests were spoiled with delicious ice creams, as the BGT judge hired an ice cream van to make a visit to her stunning home. The fun didn’t stop there—everyone enjoyed a sleepover in the beautiful tepee tents, which were outfitted with comfy roll-out mattresses. Each guest had their own personalized setup, complete with tray tables, cups, towels, a vase of flowers, and a little lamp for a cozy touch.
The guests were also gifted their own personalised denim jackets to top off the lavish celebrations. As Amanda gave a glimpse inside the adorable and swanky garden party, with the video on her Instagram, she wrote in the caption: “A new era for our #HRH she’s changing schools!!! To a truly fabulous one closer to home… Roll on year 9!!”
She added: “We did a little au-revoir party as even though she won’t be seeing them every day her friends will stay her friends!! and it goes without saying that me and the mum’s will forever be drinking rosé and enjoying life as normal!!
“Thank you to the people below – everything was bought and paid for, but they all went above and beyond to make this a truly special afternoon in the sunshine.”
The company that helped set up the event, Muddy Boots, took to Instagram to share that the theme for the party was “Beverly Hills vibes.”
Amanda, who is married to Chris Hughes since 2008, is the proud mum of two daughters: 13-year-old Hollie and 19-year-old Lexi.
This comes after Amanda had an awkward moment on her Heart Radio show, where she made a hilarious admission while sitting with Jamie Theakston. She revealed that she had accidentally been flashing her electrician! It was one of those embarrassing moments she definitely didn’t see coming.
Speaking on Wednesday, Amanda shared that her back garden was being renovated, and a time-lapse camera had been set up to help map out the layout. But in a funny turn of events, she admitted she didn’t realise the camera was recording! As she was out in the garden, she had accidentally been naked and even flashed her breasts to her husband, Chris. It was definitely one of those moments where the camera caught more than she bargained for!
Amanda Holden hilariously revealed on her Heart Radio show that she had unknowingly flashed her electrician and her husband while her garden was being renovated. She explained:
“We’re having our garden done over the summer, and I thought it would be fun to set up a time-lapse camera to capture everything.”
She continued: “The electrician said, ‘Oh, I’ll need to check the angles to make sure everything is right for the time-lapse.’ I told him, ‘Well, I’m always naked in my back garden!'”
Then, with a laugh, Amanda added: “No word of a lie, I’ve definitely been naked in the garden. And just the other day, I was sorting something out, and my husband waved at me from the bedroom window… so I flashed my boobs at him as a joke!”
It seems Amanda’s garden renovations have led to some rather amusing moments!
Jamie Theakston couldn’t help but ask, “What’s wrong with you?” to which Amanda responded with a laugh, “Because I thought it was funny! And I went ‘woo-hoo!’ like that.”
She continued, “I had no idea! The camera was stuck to a black drainpipe, and since it’s black, I didn’t realize it was even there. Now Andy’s going to review all that footage, and I need it all deleted!”
