Liam and Noel Gallagher reunited on stage at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, marking the emotional start of the long-awaited Oasis reunion tour.
In front of over 75,000 fans, the brothers appeared together for the first time in 16 years, walking on stage hand-in-hand and showing their long-running feud was finally behind them.
During their performance, Liam and Noel thrilled the crowd with a string of Oasis hits like Some Might Say, Morning Glory, and the iconic Wonderwall.
The emotional night brought many fans to tears, while celebrities like Danny Dyer, Vernon Kay, and Rob Brydon were spotted in the audience. The concert was so highly anticipated that crowds of fans without tickets gathered outside the stadium just to hear the music.

The opening night of the Oasis reunion tour proved well worth the 16-year wait, with fans flooding social media to praise the show as “amazing” and “lifechanging.”
Liam and Noel kicked off the concert arm-in-arm, soaking in the roaring applause from the crowd. “Manchester vibes in the area,” Liam said, before launching into Hello, the opening track from their 1995 album What’s The Story (Morning Glory).
They followed with Acquiesce and the iconic Morning Glory, energizing the crowd. Liam, clearly moved, shouted, “Yes beautiful people! It’s been too long,” and got the audience bouncing before Cigarettes and Alcohol.
After delivering hits like Some Might Say, Bring It On Down, and Fade Away, Liam took a break while Noel played a heartfelt acoustic version of Talk Tonight.
Noel then became visibly emotional during Half The World Away, pausing his singing at one point as the crowd shared in the deeply moving moment.

Later in the show, Liam asked the crowd, “Are you having a good time?” before joking about the Ticketmaster chaos, saying, “Was it worth the £40,000 you paid for the ticket?” — a cheeky reference to inflated resale prices. Though tickets were originally meant to start at £74.25, some were being resold for hundreds of pounds, with VIP packages reaching over £500.
Throughout the performance, emotional visuals played on screen, including childhood photos of the Gallagher brothers and nostalgic images of their Manchester home. Photos of their parents, Peggy and Tommy, also appeared during Stand By Me, adding to the sentimental tone.
The concert officially ended with Rock ‘n’ Roll Star, but the fans weren’t ready to say goodbye. After loud calls for an encore, Liam and Noel returned to perform Wonderwall, sending the crowd into a frenzy. The brothers were clearly moved as they wrapped up the night.
“Thanks for putting up with us over the years. We’re hard work. We get it,” Liam said, closing the emotional, unforgettable evening.
