Shabz Miah, who plays Kammy on Emmerdale, recently opened up about the evolving friendship between Kammy and Vinny. He explained, “Kammy realises that there’s a bigger issue at hand for Vinny, because he’s been going to such extreme lengths to impress for his anniversary with Gabby, but on the other hand, he’s misread the signals and has tried to kiss Kammy.”
Shabz Miah continued by saying, “So Kammy does support Vinny on this journey that they go on – and it does get quite exciting.” He added, “Kammy’s so relaxed with it. He’s so comfortable with himself that it doesn’t affect him. The only thing that does affect him is, ‘You are getting married to Gabs. You need to understand the situation.’”
He explained that Kammy isn’t upset about the kiss — instead, he feels for Vinny. “It’s opened up this different perspective on the relationships Vinny has with people,” Shabz shared.
“Kammy’s trying to support him on his journey,” he said. “He’s trying to understand and make it easier for Vinny and help him and guide him as to what is going on, because he is obviously in a position where he’s not entirely sure.”
