At the world premiere of Rihanna’s film Smurfs in Brussels, Belgium, A$AP Rocky appeared to accidentally reveal the gender of their third child.
When ET’s Kevin Frazier asked the 36-year-old rapper, “Is that the girl you’ve been waiting for?” A$AP quickly responded, “It is, man, it is.”
Caught off guard, he then held up a plush Smurfette doll and added, “Right here, you know what I’m saying? Right here.”
On ET’s official Instagram, fans erupted with excitement. User @aysenuurkc exclaimed, “It’s [a] girl!”
Instagram user @khadija_sufi laughed, “He definitely gave it away.”
Meanwhile, @fashionistaera21 praised A$AP Rocky, writing, “How cutely he promoted the movie and showed his love for her! That’s a real man supporting his girl.”

Instagram user @hot_cheetos_0001 urged, “Put a ring on it. Do it the right way,” while @chibiapril0412 chimed in, “He needs to marry her.”
When ET’s Kevin Frazier asked Rihanna, 36, the same question about the baby’s gender, she smiled coyly and replied, “Let’s see if it’s a Smurfette… It could be a Papa Smurf. Who knows?”
Rihanna (born Robyn Fenty) confirmed that their next child’s name will start with an R, saying, “That’s the one thing me and Rocky don’t fight over.”
On how many more children they plan to have, the two-time Grammy winner joked, “We [are] going to be like the Wayans family, you know? Yeah, I mean, love is beautiful and it’s just about spreading it.”
The couple, who already have two sons—3-year-old RZA Athelston Mayers and 22-month-old Riot Rose Mayers—have been together for five years. Rihanna has openly expressed her wish for a daughter in the past.
The power duo, who share matching 1988 tattoos to mark their birth year, first met in 2011 when Rihanna brought A$AP Rocky in to rap on her track Cockiness (Love It).
In other news, A$AP Rocky was acquitted on February 18 after facing up to eight years in prison on two counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm related to a 2021 shooting involving his longtime friend A$AP Relli (Terell Ephron).
The AWGE founder’s late father, from Barbados, reportedly went to prison when Rocky was just 12, and he spent his teenage years moving through homeless shelters with his mother and sister.

Rihanna both produced and voiced Smurfette in Paramount Animation’s Smurfs, which hits theaters in the UK and US on July 18. She also wrote and recorded original songs for the film, including “Friend Of Mine.”
Before Rihanna, the character of Smurfette was voiced by pop stars and rivals Katy Perry and Demi Lovato.
Directed by Chris Miller, the animated movie features a star-studded cast including Nick Offerman, Natasha Lyonne, JP Karliak, Dan Levy, Amy Sedaris, Nick Kroll, James Corden, Octavia Spencer, Hannah Waddingham, Sandra Oh, Alex Winter, Billie Lourd, Xolo Maridueña, Kurt Russell, and John Goodman.
Meanwhile, A$AP Rocky took an acting role as Yung Felony in Spike Lee’s neo-noir crime thriller Highest 2 Lowest, which premieres in US theaters on August 22 and will stream on Apple TV+ starting September 5.
Fans are still waiting on a release date for A$AP Rocky’s long-delayed fourth studio album, Don’t Be Dumb.
Beyond entertainment, Rihanna stays busy with her $3 billion lingerie brand Savage X Fenty, which she expanded into the $600 million cosmetics empire Fenty Beauty, along with Fenty Skin, Fenty Fragrance, and Fenty Hair.
