Diana Jenkins took to Instagram on Friday to provide an update on her high-risk second pregnancy. The 49-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum shared a short reel from her recent doctor’s visit, giving fans a glimpse of her ultrasound. Diana, who is engaged to musician Asher Monroe, 34, posted the brief but heartfelt footage on her social media.
Diana and her husband-to-be already share two-year-old daughter Eliyanah.
Additionally, Jenkins is mother to son Innis, 22, and daughter Eneya, 19, whom she shares with ex-husband Roger Jenkins.
In the snippet a doctor can be heard assuring the mom-to-be, ‘It looks like you’re doing great! and asking ‘When are you going to fly?’
Back in January Jenkins announced her departure from the RHOBH franchise after just one season, in order to focus on her pregnancy.
‘As so many of you know, Asher and I are expecting our second child later this year. You also know that due to many factors, this pregnancy is considered high risk and I am on doctor-advised bed rest,’ she wrote along with a selfie of her, Asher, and Eliyanah in bed.
She continued: ‘To that end, I am not able to devote myself fully to filming the next season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
‘I would like to thank Bravo and Evolution for allowing me to focus on my pregnancy, and for their support and understanding.’
‘I promise to continue sharing my fertility journey with you,’ she vowed at the end of the post.
Before she gives birth this summer, Jenkins will make an appearance at Elton John’s annual Oscars viewing party.
On March 12 she’ll join her former Bravo castmates at the event, where her company Neuro Brands is a sponsor.
During an episode of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills that aired in June, Diana opened up about a pregnancy loss she suffered.
Talking to series vet Kyle Richards, the entrepreneur explained that six months after giving birth to Eliyanah she discovered she was pregnant again.
However, after an appointment with her doctor, it was revealed that her child had passed away and had to be delivered stillborn in order to prevent infections.
Diana, also known as Sanela Diana Jenkins, was born and raised in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but then moved to London where she eventually studied at City University, London.
On RHOBH, she revealed she was only ’19 years old when the war broke out’ and she fled her country as a refugee without a penny to her name.’
‘Cleaning toilets, doing anything to get anything,’ Diana said. ‘I would say that there were a good ten years of my life that were excruciating.’
