Katie Price’s effort to mark her daughter Princess’s milestone birthday didn’t go as planned.

Katie Price faced embarrassment on Friday after she had to delete her 18th birthday tribute to her daughter, Princess.
She posted a heartfelt message on Instagram Stories, sharing a sweet photo and writing, “Happy 18th birthday to the most amazing daughter and my best friend @princess_andre I love you so much.” However, the post was quickly taken down and replaced with another picture of Princess.
It seems Katie got the date wrong, as Princess’s birthday is actually on Sunday. Princess had previously shared that her celebration would be low-key since she doesn’t drink alcohol.
She also mentioned that her dad and his wife Emily are organizing the event. Speaking to the Mirror, Princess said she’d be happy with a quiet dinner and maybe going somewhere afterward, as long as it’s memorable and surrounded by her loved ones—family and friends.

Princess shared her thoughts about celebrating her milestone birthday with her mother, saying hopefully, “Maybe we’ll have a nice dinner together. I’m sure Mum will have something planned for me.”
She also clarified, “I’m not much of a drinker or party person, but it’ll be nice to go to pubs and hang out with my friends. At the same time, I’m not someone who would embarrass myself or put myself in a situation that makes me look bad.”
Her remarks come after a report from Express.co.uk revealed that a source said Princess and her older brother, Junior, have been encouraged to keep some distance from their mum in public. This appears to be due to worries about her turbulent lifestyle.

A source explained, “There’s been a noticeable change. Princess and Junior love their mum but have been advised to keep family separate from business, especially regarding joint red-carpet events or interviews. It’s not about cutting ties but protecting their own reputations.”
Recently, Katie, 47, has faced several controversies. In December 2021, she was banned from driving for two years after a drink-driving crash in Horsham involving her BMW. Although she was supposed to get her license back in late 2023, this was delayed by nearly a year after she was charged in early 2024 with driving without insurance and without a valid license.
Furthermore, in March this year, an arrest warrant was issued for Katie after she missed a court hearing related to her ongoing bankruptcy case.
