Harriet Cowan appeared in the newest season of Clarkson’s Farm and quickly won over fans, becoming one of the show’s most popular new faces.

Harriet Cowan, a 24-year-old former nurse, has impressed fans after sharing a striking video from the farm. She joined the latest season of Clarkson’s Farm to help out at Diddly Squat while Kaleb Cooper was away on tour.
Viewers have praised her enthusiasm for farm life and applauded her efforts to show that “girly girls” can be just as capable with tractors and animals as anyone else.
Harriet’s time on Clarkson’s Farm was brief due to Kaleb’s return, but she quickly built a loyal fanbase that now follows her farming updates online. On June 26, she posted a TikTok showing a tractor tedding hay, captioned: “A bit of tedding on the 110.”
Tedding is a process used to spread and aerate cut crops like hay, helping them dry faster by exposing them to air and sunlight. The video drew plenty of comments, including one viewer who joked: “Sneezing just watching. Don’t know how you cope when it’s warm.”

One fan wrote, “Harriet, in the clumsiest of times you’re a breath of fresh air,” while another added, “Keep doing what you do… you’re an inspiration to many.”
Another fan simply wrote, “Love ya girlie.” Although Harriet graduated from the University of Derby in 2023 with a nursing degree, she’s since chosen a completely different path in farming. In a recent TikTok, she expressed surprise at how quickly her follower count has grown since appearing on Clarkson’s Farm.
Harriet has amassed an impressive 700,000 followers and 2.7 million likes on TikTok, calling the surge in popularity “insane.” She’s expressed heartfelt thanks to her audience, saying she can’t thank them enough for their interest in her farming journey. As her online presence grows, she’s hinted at starting a YouTube channel with her partner James to give viewers a closer look at their daily life on the farm.
Harriet asked her followers if they’d be interested in a YouTube channel, sharing that both she and her partner James come from long lines of farmers, making agriculture a key part of their family history.
Now gaining recognition as an agricultural influencer, Harriet is using her platform to raise awareness about mental health in the farming community—a topic she recently discussed in an interview with BBC Derby, which she also highlighted on Instagram.
Speaking candidly, she said, “It’s lonely—even though you’re surrounded by animals, there’s no one to talk to. If I can do anything, I want to use this platform to promote mental health in farming. And if I can save even one life, it’s worth it.”
