Clarkson’s Farm fans have expressed the one thing they hope to see in the next season—a stronger focus on a more ‘competent’ approach, reflecting their desire for a clearer sense of expertise on the show.

Fans of the popular streaming series Clarkson’s Farm are eager for the next season to deliver more excitement.
Those watching Jeremy Clarkson’s Amazon Prime show hope the fifth season will offer something “a lot more interesting,” as expressed in a post on the r/ClarksonsFarm subreddit where viewers shared their expectations for the upcoming series.
This comes alongside strong praise for the fourth season, which focused on Jeremy Clarkson’s pub, The Farmer’s Dog. Visitors to the pub mentioned that while the prices seemed steep at first, they felt it was good value since the food is made with local ingredients.
Someone identifying as a farmer posted on the Reddit page to share what they hope to see from the show in upcoming seasons.
A self-identified farmer commented that they’d like to see more skilled farming on the show, suggesting it would be more engaging if it focused less on the pub and other side activities.
They also recommended replacing Kaleb with a more experienced farm manager, noting that Harriet, who was briefly involved, was a big improvement. They spoke from experience running a diverse farm.
Some fans pointed to another show, Countryfile, which Clarkson has mentioned before, as a better option for those wanting a true farming documentary.
Others, however, argued that Clarkson’s Farm works perfectly as an entertainment show and doesn’t need to focus on expert farming to be successful.
One fan said, “As someone who’s not a farmer, Clarkson’s Farm is the perfect entertainment show for me.” Another added, “It’s the bridge that got non-farmers like me interested in the challenges farmers face.”
A third user felt the show’s creators were “limiting themselves” by rushing through both the pub and farm storylines.

One fan suggested, “I’m not saying this because I’m greedy, but I’d prefer more episodes. Having 10 or 12 episodes this season would have allowed a better balance between the pub and the farm.”
Another fan chimed in, saying, “Totally agree. No idea why they’re limiting themselves when they could easily slow down the pace and add a few more episodes. They montage through way too much.”
A third wrote, “The last two episodes gave me more anxiety than entertainment. They could have stretched it out and I still would have watched it.
“I would have liked to see Charlie and the team figure out how to fix the kitchen, who eventually vacuumed the carpet, why the dishwasher and two servers quit on the first day, and some customer reviews about the place and food to balance out the chaos—since they said people were enjoying themselves despite the pub drama.”
