Robert Sugden appears to have found an ally in his ongoing feud with his brother John on Emmerdale. In the latest episode, Robert learns that another villager also has issues with John, the show’s villain. Despite their fake truce, it’s clear that both brothers are still plotting against each other.

Recent episodes have made Robert convinced that John is keeping a dark secret, and he’s determined to uncover the truth. Robert aims to expose his brother, particularly to Aaron Dingle, John’s new husband.

Thursday night’s episode hinted at a possible new alliance between two characters who might be eager to expose John. Robert immediately asked Mackenzie Boyd about his opinion of John, curious if he was a fan.

Since John’s husband Aaron is Robert’s ex, the two are at odds, setting the stage for explosive confrontations.
