Dua Lipa has announced that she’s engaged to actor Callum Turner, calling it “a really special feeling.”
The 29-year-old singer has been dating 35-year-old Turner, who’s from London, for about a year and a half.
Turner is known for his roles in Fantastic Beasts and Masters of the Air, and he was nominated for a BAFTA in 2020 for the BBC drama The Capture.
In an interview with British Vogue, Dua confirmed the news, saying, “Yeah, we’re engaged.” She added that it’s exciting to make the choice to grow old together and be lifelong best friends.
Dua Lipa and Callum Turner first sparked engagement rumors last Christmas when she posted photos wearing a ring.
She revealed to Vogue that Turner had the ring custom-made for her, after getting input from her close friends and sister.
“It’s so me,” she said, adding that it feels good knowing the person you plan to spend your life with really understands you.

The couple hasn’t set a wedding date yet. Dua is currently on a world tour, which wraps up in Mexico this December, and Turner is busy filming.
He’s set to star in the lead role of Neuromancer, an upcoming Apple TV sci-fi series based on the 1984 novel by William Gibson.
For now, they’re enjoying their engagement. Dua admitted she’s never been someone who imagined her wedding in detail — but now she’s starting to think about things like what she might wear on the big day.
