Jennifer Garner gave fans a rare glimpse into Ben Affleck’s life as a dad this Father’s Day.
The “13 Going on 30” actress posted a heartfelt and intimate photo to her Instagram Story, showing Affleck lying on a couch with one of their children peacefully sleeping on his chest—a private, never-before-seen moment from their family life.
Alongside the touching image, she wrote:
“Happy Father’s Day to 3 people’s favorite landing spot.”
It was a warm and personal tribute to Affleck as a father and co-parent.
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have three children together: Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13.
Even though they separated in 2015 after being married for ten years, they have kept a friendly and cooperative co-parenting relationship.
Their divorce was finalized in 2018, following a period when Affleck entered rehab.
Ben Affleck, 52, recently spoke highly of Jennifer Garner, 53, in his April 2025 GQ cover story. He called himself lucky to have such a great co-parent and partner in her, praising her as wonderful. Affleck said they work well together in raising their kids.
In March, a source told Page Six that Ben Affleck would like another chance with Jennifer Garner now that his divorce from Jennifer Lopez is finalized. The insider said Affleck is open to rekindling their relationship if the timing works out. However, the source also noted that Ben understands it’s probably not realistic for them right now.
However, sources say Jennifer Garner doesn’t feel the same way. Another insider revealed that she’s happy in her relationship with John Miller, whom she’s been dating since 2018. In fact, Garner and Miller were spotted sharing a rare public kiss in Los Angeles earlier this month.
