Caldas, who had been working with Justin and his wife Hailey since 2018, decided to leave his role to pursue his acting career. It is not clear whether the couple has found a replacement or is planning to hire a new assistant.
This news follows an announcement from Justin’s representative to TMZ nearly two weeks ago, stating that the singer was ending “several close friendships and business relationships” that no longer benefited him.
The rep also mentioned that 2025 has been a “very transformative” year for Justin, 31, who is focused on supporting his wife, Hailey, and their 6-month-old son, Jack Blues. Additionally, the rep denied rumors that Justin, known for his hit “Peaches,” is using drugs.
Justin’s representative called the rumors about his physical and mental health “exhausting and pitiful,” criticizing how people continue to spread negative and harmful narratives despite the truth.
However, despite his team denying drug use, the two-time Grammy winner took to social media to joke about those concerned about his behavior over the past two months. In just one week, he shared a video rapping about being high, another where he smoked a joint, and a photo series of him using a glass bong.
Concern about Justin began when he appeared to sway uncontrollably while talking to a friend at Hailey’s Rhode skincare pop-up event in Los Angeles. Hailey, 28, was reportedly “really concerned” for her husband and unsure how to handle the situation.
An insider shared that “Justin is going through a hard time,” and while Hailey is doing her best to support him, there’s only so much she can do.
