Lala Kent and her ex-fiancé, Randall Emmett, have settled their three-year custody battle over their 3-year-old daughter, Ocean. During an Amazon Live stream on Tuesday, Kent confirmed, “You guys, the custody battle is over.
It’s officially ended,” adding, “We’re done with it, so there’s my tea for the day.” The 34-year-old “Vanderpump Rules” star expressed her happiness at reaching a legal agreement with the film producer.
Lala Kent shared that after over three years, she and Randall Emmett have signed an agreement that is best for their daughter, Ocean, expressing how happy she is about it. The “Vanderpump Rules” star admitted that the custody process had been a heavy emotional burden on her for a long time, acknowledging it likely affected her ex as well.
She expressed relief in reaching a good place for the well-being of their child. While Kent didn’t reveal any specifics about their agreement, she did provide an update on their daughter’s personality.
Lala Kent described her daughter Ocean as “such a vibe, so fun,” adding, “I dig her to my core.” Kent and Randall Emmett, 53, met in 2015 and went public with their relationship shortly after his divorce from Ambyr Childers was finalized in December 2017.
The couple got engaged in September 2018. In September 2020, Kent announced she was pregnant, and they welcomed Ocean in March 2021. However, the couple split in October 2021 after allegations that Randall had cheated on Kent.
A source claimed, “Randall always lives a double life,” describing how he balances being a husband or boyfriend with living the life of a “serial partier” who often goes on benders. The couple’s split followed a period when they had been open about their struggles during the pandemic, which appeared to put their wedding plans on hold indefinitely.
Emmett has two older children, London and Rylee, from his previous marriage, while Kent welcomed her second child, a daughter named Sosa, last September after conceiving via a sperm donor.
