Georgia Toffolo is married!!! Georgia Toffolo and James Watt Elope to Scotland, Share Heartwarming Fishing Boat Photos After Secret Wedding

Georgia Toffolo has shared the exciting news that she married her fiancé, James Watt, on Saturday after the couple eloped to North East Scotland.

The couple got engaged in October when James proposed with an eight-carat triple-diamond ring, valued at around £200,000, during a romantic trip to Greece for Georgia’s 30th birthday.

Despite James, 42, previously confirming that they would marry this year, the couple kept it a secret, with guests only given 48 hours’ notice to attend the ceremony.

Georgia took to Instagram to share joyful photos of the newlyweds on a fishing boat just moments after saying “I do.”

She captioned the surprising post: “James and I got married today. 1st March will forever be the best day of my life – the day I became your wife. We eloped!

‘Guests: whoever could get here with 48 hours’ notice!”

Georgia shared more details of her special day, revealing the conditions: “Temperature: 6°C. Wind: 17 knots North Westerly. Location: North East Scotland.”

She also sent a message to those who couldn’t attend, saying, “To our family and friends who aren’t with us, we will celebrate with you soonest!”

On her big day, Georgia looked beautiful in a cream fleece off-the-shoulder dress, ideal for the chilly Scottish weather. She styled her blonde hair in an elegant updo, accessorizing with delicate diamond earrings and a flowing white veil. However, her chunky brown boots might have been a practical choice for safety during their boat photoshoot.

James, on the other hand, sported a more casual look, wearing a cream beanie hat, a thick cream jumper, and blue fishing overalls. The couple seemed to embrace the fun of the moment, even making playful faces as they handled lobsters together.

Georgia’s Instagram post was met with an outpouring of love and excitement from her fans and celebrity friends, who were both surprised and thrilled by the news.

After posting her photos on social media, Georgia shared a video on her Instagram stories shortly after walking down the aisle, excitedly saying, “We just got married!”

In the video, Georgia sat in a car next to James, who had changed into a smart dark suit. She laughed and told the camera, “It was so unchoreographed! We just came out of the church and were like, ‘Wait, where do we go now?’ So we just sat in the car!”

She continued, “We’re going to meet everyone now, but it’s the best day of our lives! I can’t believe it!” James also shared more photos from their unique wedding day, including a sweet image of him lifting his new bride.

James also shared a touching detail about their wedding, revealing they married in the same church where his grandparents tied the knot. In his caption, the BrewDog founder wrote: “1st March 2025. 57.6722° N, 2.3372° W (Gardenstown, Northeast Scotland) 6°C, 17-knot winds (because Scottish weather never disappoints). Spaniel ring bearer.

Guests – whoever could get there with 24 hours’ notice. Scottish honeymoon incoming. Married in the same church my grandparents were married in.”

Back in January, James had hinted at their wedding plans, asking his followers on social media whether he should “take the tax-relief hit” or wait three years to marry.

Speculation about when James and Georgia, also known as ‘Toff,’ would tie the knot grew after James hinted at possibly delaying the ceremony, and Toff mentioned her struggle to find the perfect dress.

In December, James, the business mogul, asked his 427,000 LinkedIn followers whether he should postpone the wedding for three years to avoid missing out on tax relief. Marrying Toff before then would make him a “connected person” in her raw dog food business, Wild Pack, due to his investment in the company this year, which would disqualify him from receiving the EIS tax relief.

However, James confirmed to MailOnline in January that they had already set a wedding date for 2025 and chosen a venue, which they are keeping a secret for now. Regarding his LinkedIn post, he clarified, “I thought it was so clear to everyone I was joking because of the tone and the laughing face I put. I was poking fun at how silly the tax rules are, and everyone thought it was serious. The tax saving was going to be less than £5,000, so it definitely wasn’t something I would consider postponing a wedding for 36 months over.”

In an update on the planning process, Georgia shared with her 1.8 million Instagram followers that the wedding would have taken place the month after their engagement if she had found the right dress. “We are both incredibly impatient people desperate to waltz down the aisle,” she said, adding they would marry “very quickly” once she found the perfect gown. She then filmed a clip with James, asking, “If I find the dress of dreams today, when can we get married?”

When Georgia asked James when they could get married if she found the perfect dress, he replied, “Let’s say next weekend,” to which she laughed and added, “We’re not even joking though.”

James also joked about being “sustainable” by re-wearing the same suit from his first wedding to his ex-wife Johanna Basford.

Toff previously gave fans a sneak peek of her wedding dress shopping, though she kept the full dress a secret. She also shared some of their wedding food plans, revealing they would have “sausage rolls” and “James’ Granny’s rice pudding.”

The reality star confirmed she would break tradition by spending the night before the wedding with her fiancé. “I love being with James, so the night before we are going to have all the kids round and sit on the sofa to watch Mamma Mia,” she said.

While Georgia admitted she had considered eloping, she explained that they couldn’t completely do so, as their families would miss out. Instead, they are planning a “light elope.” She said, “I just want to go and elope! I think there is something so sexy, beautiful, and romantic about a couple eloping. It is kind of unfair because you can’t share the joy, and we do have family to think about, but if I had my way, it would just be us and immediate family.”

She also revealed her desire to plan “the most unconventional, weird, wacky wedding that everyone looks at and thinks, ‘Has she gone mental?’ because I think that’s what we want.”

In January, Georgia shared her eagerness to get married but confessed she couldn’t stand the thought of all the planning. She told The Mirror, “I’m just desperate to get married! I don’t want to do any of the planning, I haven’t planned a thing, I only want to be married. It’s the opposite of how I thought I’d feel. I thought I’d be swept up in what I’m going to wear and have hundreds of people there.”

“My preference is to elope. I’m struggling to get it over the line,” she continued, adding, “Our families are so excited for us and want to be involved, it feels a little selfish to elope. So, we’ll see.”
