Tommy Mallet has revealed that he has “sold everything” after being hit with a huge tax bill following the sale of his successful luxury footwear brand, Mallet. The 31-year-old former TOWIE star opened up about going through a “s**t time” but vowed to work hard to rebuild what he has lost in a defiant Instagram post.
After launching his brand in 2015 and making over £11.8 million in sales in a single year, Tommy’s success skyrocketed, earning him a spot on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list in 2021. However, he admitted that by December of last year, after selling the business, he had “nothing left.”

In a recent Instagram update, Tommy shared that he had been fighting through a “four-month battle” and now feels determined to rebuild, saying, “I have a point to prove and will make all that I’ve lost back abundantly.” He explained that he has sold all his assets to defend himself, starting from scratch, but remains hopeful with his other ventures.
Tommy also addressed the personal challenges he faced, including the miscarriage of his wife, Georgia, and his financial struggles. He shared that he’s “got nothing financially at the moment” but is focused on getting back on his feet. Reflecting on his journey, he said, “Just call me the monk who has sold his Ferrari for a bit.”
Despite his setbacks, Tommy remains resolute, drawing strength from his entrepreneurial spirit and his family’s support. He previously revealed his challenging journey from struggling with dyslexia and undiagnosed ADHD to building a multi-million-pound business. Tommy married Georgia, who shares their son Brody, in December 2024 after proposing in 2022.
