The Electric State star has three children with Arnold Schwarzenegger’s daughter, Katherine Schwarzenegger.
Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger have been enjoying life with their newborn son, Ford, who they welcomed in November. The couple, married in 2019, also have two daughters, Lyla, 4, and Eloise, 2. In addition, Chris is a father to his 12-year-old son, Jack, from his previous marriage to Anna Faris.
Chris and Katherine frequently share relatable posts on social media about life with a newborn, but Chris took it a step further recently while discussing their three-month-old son.
During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the Electric State star revealed an unexpected genetic trait he has passed down to his son.
Chris jokingly told Jimmy, “He didn’t get my eyes, but he got my long butt crack. That’s a genetic thing, and I’ll tell you, most of it goes up.” The comment left Jimmy laughing, and when the host said, “I have no idea if mine is long,” Chris responded, “Oh, you’d know if it was long.”
Chris continued, “It’s one of those things you just know. You look around and go, ‘I think mine’s a lot longer than that.'” He then revealed that his dad “had a long butt crack” too. “He was a contractor. My brother and I would work for him, and plumber’s butt— that’s a thing, right? The pants hang down. He’d have his pants jacked up, and he’d still have plumber’s butt,” Chris joked.
Chris and Katherine seem to be embracing the newborn phase with humor. Chris recently shared a photo of baby Ford, which many of his followers found relatable. In the picture, Katherine was holding up the baby, who clearly needed a diaper change, while Chris captioned it with, “[Expletive] happens.” Fellow parents couldn’t help but laugh, with one commenting, “The most relatable picture,” while another wrote, “Omg! I remember those days… and 11 years later, I wish they were that size again.”
When Chris announced the birth of baby Ford in November, he shared on Instagram, “We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our son. Mama and baby are doing well, and Ford’s siblings are thrilled by his arrival. We feel so blessed and grateful.”
Chris and Katherine met at church in 2018, the same year he finalized his divorce from Anna Faris. Chris had been married to the House Bunny actress since 2009, and they welcomed their son, Jack, in 2012.
Chris has always expressed his deep love for his eldest son. During his Hollywood Walk of Fame speech in 2017, he praised Jack and thanked Anna for co-parenting with him.
“You’ve given me so much,” Chris said. “You gave me the greatest star in the galaxy in my little boy, I love him and I love you.”
He added, “We have bonded to make this molecule that is more important to me than air or water, and without it none of this means anything to me.”
Even with the arrival of more children, Chris has made sure to include Jack in every part of his life, praising him for being an amazing big brother.
“There’s a big age gap… and he does a great job, he’s so sweet with them,” Chris shared with Entertainment Tonight. “They love him so much and they miss him when he’s gone.”
