Our Yorkshire Farm and Our Farm Next Door star Amanda Owen has opened up about the challenges of life on the Yorkshire Dales.
Posting to Instagram, the mum of nine and Yorkshire Shepherdess revealed how the ‘insanely ambitious’ renovation project she and her ex-husband and their children are taking on is going.
Amanda is currently starring in Our Farm Next Door, Channel 4’s follow up to Our Yorkshire Farm, which sees the family all working together to rebuild an old barn on their Ravenseat farm and turn it into a permanent home.
But it’s not always been plain sailing, as Amanda admitted.
Amanda posted: “There are not enough hours in the day to get everything done.
Sometimes it feels like one step forward and two back but we keep going whatever the weather.
“Good news is that you don’t even have to break into a sweat or stressy meltdown to experience the ups and downs that come with taking on our insanely ambitious renovation project.
“Whilst also attempting to keep farming, filming, writing and overseeing the supersized family of children and animals.”
Amanda then urged people to tune in to the latest episode of Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids which is currently being repeated on Channel 4.
Fans are thrilled to hear from Amanda but are desperately waiting for a new series from the farm.

Others moved to reassure Amanda that her best days are still ahead of her.
