ITV’s Fletcher’s Family Farm: Kelvin Fletcher’s Wife Liz Announces ‘That’s a Wrap’ for Now

Kelvin and Liz have issued an update on the future of their hit ITV show Fletcher’s Family Farm

Kelvin and Liz Fletcher have announced ‘that’s a wrap’ as they provided an update on the future of their TV show. The couple, who live with their four young children on a sprawling 120-acre farm, have been the focus of the popular ITV series Fletcher’s Family Farm.

Viewers have seen Kelvin, formerly known for his role as farmer Andy Sugden in Emmerdale, take on real-life farming tasks. The show, which is broadcast on Sunday mornings, debuted in October 2023, followed by a second series in November, last year.

A festive 2024 special saw the family venture from their Cheshire farm to Finland, visiting a family-run farm in the Arctic Circle. Following the Christmas episode, the series continued until Liz confirmed its conclusion for the time being on Sunday (February 16).

In a joint Instagram post led by Liz, the pair expressed their gratitude to fans: “And that’s a wrap! Thank you so much to everyone who tuned in week after week to see our farming journey!

“We are so grateful for all the lovely messages and comments and so happy that you have enjoyed watching it as much as we loved making it! This is only just the beginning! Happy Sunday!”.

Fans were quick to share their enthusiasm. @staceyleigh23 exclaimed: “The best program in tv! What a lovely family life for your kiddies.”, reports the Manchester Evening News.

@csatlantic enthused: “Loved every episode. You guys are the best. Please let there be another series.” @leesac73 commented: “Love this series! Such a lovely family.”

@sherlaynecollier replied warmly: “Brilliant show. Great to see how far you have all come. Keep it going.” @elzi_r chimed in: “A brilliant show, hope there is more to come.” @mel.wat77 added optimistically: “Was a fabulous show, I do hope we will see you all back again soon.”

The flurry of support followed as Kelvin Fletcher and his wife Liz shared some exciting news on Thursday (February 13) during their recent appearance on ITV’s Lorraine. Chatting live to Lorraine Kelly, the couple delved into the intricacies of the lambing process and eagerly awaited to find out on air if their sheep were pregnant.

Kelvin illustrated that the “ideal scenario” would include their sheep being pregnant with twins, explaining that having two offspring is much less risky and makes for an “easy life”. He humorously remarked that they feel “lucky” since twins “run in the family” given the arrival of their own set of twins in 2022.

As they began scanning the sheep, Liz confessed to the viewers: “It’s the most nail biting scan of our lives,”

Their tension was replaced by elation when they discovered the first sheep was pregnant with twins, leading them to exult: “Yes, twins.” Following that, they found that their second sheep is expecting a single lamb.
