“Queen Rania shared a heartfelt moment as the Jordanian royal family met Princess Iman’s newborn daughter, Princess Amina, for the first time.
In the touching footage, King Abdullah II is seen proudly gazing at his sleeping granddaughter in her cot. Meanwhile, Princess Iman’s younger sister, Princess Salma, 24, appears emotional as she waves at her newborn niece upon arriving at the maternity hospital.
Queen Rania captioned the special moment simply: ‘Sweet Amina with the family.'”

Queen Rania and King Abdullah announced the birth of their second granddaughter on Sunday, just six months after Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa welcomed their daughter, Princess Iman—named after the Prince’s sister.
A heartwarming video captured the moment six-month-old Iman met her newborn cousin, Princess Amina. In the footage, little Iman, dressed in a white embroidered top and denim joggers, excitedly kicks her legs while being held by her father, Hussein, as she curiously peers into the cot.

Proud new father Jameel Thermiotis is seen standing beside his brother-in-law, Crown Prince Hussein, as both men cradle their daughters.
The touching moment captures baby Iman playfully reaching out to her uncle Jameel, bringing laughter to the pair.
The footage also highlights a sweet interaction between Queen Rania and her eldest grandchild, as she joyfully lifts Iman into the air and playfully wiggles her tiny feet.

In a personal post of his own, Crown Prince Hussein, congratulated his sister and brother-in-law, as he shared snaps of his daughter Princess Iman with her cousin, Princess Amina.
“Welcome to the family, Amina! May you be a source of joy for your parents and a loving sister and lifelong companion to my daughter,” he wrote.
Future king Hussein wed Saudi-born architect Rajwa on June 1, 2023, at Zahran Palace, with royalty from around the world in attendance. The couple welcomed their daughter, Iman, in August 2024.
Meanwhile, King Abdullah and Queen Rania’s eldest daughter, Princess Iman, married Jameel Thermiotis on March 12, 2023, at Beit Al Urdun Palace.
Queen Rania announced Princess Iman’s pregnancy in January, just three weeks before the birth of baby Amina.
